I do not look straight ahead, I look around to see a bird drop poop on some unsuspecting head. You can't believe the things I've seen just by looking. There is much to do in one lifetime which is why I'm well-travelled, including a two year stint on a Kibbutz in Israel, backpacking through Europe more than twice, not to mention South America, New Zealand, Mexico, Indonesia, et al.
I have a few college degrees in TV and Radio, as well as a BS in Psychology. I've been a Real Estate Agent, a Commodities Broker (pork bellies, anyone?), a Social Worker, Substitute Teacher, and Acting Coach. I've cleaned Koi ponds, bathrooms, and I've sold art on Venice Beach, not to mention a number of acting jobs over the years, like crazy screaming woman on "ER", or maid from Brooklyn on General Hospital. I have been a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild for 35 years.
I seek the truth in any form and I try to write it the way I feel it. Anything to fuel my creative energies.
Bouncing balls drive me crazy as does sleeping on printed sheets. I do like bathroom humor and I am intolerant of intolerance.
Being a writer of kid's lit makes me happy. Welcome to Act III of my life.
